The new Turtle Creek expansion is open and is it ever nice !!  The new casino is the same quality as much of Atlantic City & Las Vegas.  It is       sq-ft with    slot machines,  game tables  and   restaurants, night club with a new poker room.  The poker room has 10 tables and is the nicest in the state of Michigan !!  Just inside of the main entry desk there is a waiting area AND a Poker Bar is adjoining the poker room - how convenient !!  The Poker Room is offering higher prizes and more prize pools including daily prizes.
The tournament schedule is as follows:

Monday thru Thursday: 6:30 register, 7 pm start, $40 + $5 add-on with (1) $20 rebuy - NL Hold 'em, 20 min. blinds; Friday is the Michigan Grand Challenge, 7 pm start, $60 buy-in Texas Holdem,  Saturday: 3:30 register, 4 pm start, $100 + $10 add-on - NL Hold 'em, 30 min. blinds, 5000 + 1000 chips, $50 add-on at end of 1st hour for 3000 chips; Sunday 12:30 register, 1 pm start, $120 + $10 add-on 6000 + 1000 chips, freeze out, NL Texas Holdem, 30 min. blinds

There are regular cash games being played.  There is generally a $1 - $2 ($50 - $200 buy-in) NL Holdem game going on plus usually a $2 - $5 ($200 - $500 buy-in) NL game, sometimes a $5 - $10 ($500 - $2000 buy-in) NL game and when there are enough players they will have a $25 - $50 ($2500 + buy-in) NL game (generally you can find the $25/$50 game on Thursdays & Saturdays).

Turtle Creek will be offering games in conjunction with the United States Poker Tour (USPT.com).  Turtle Creek will be hosting the Heartland Poker tour in May, 2009 and August, 2009.  I hope to see you there !!
