We have added many more poker tables to our shopping cart. These new poker tables provide a broader range of both price and quality of standard poker tables than we have had available in the past.
We are proud to introduce our own TheBestPokerSite.com line of poker tables. These tables are very good quality and are excellent values. You cannot get this quality at these prices from anyone else on the internet !! We have the classic 84" racetrack style of tables with folding legs and the same style of top with crescent shaped wooden pedestal legs. Both are available either for 10 players or with a dealer spot & a chip tray. All four variations are available in black, blue, green or red felt. |
Choosing a Poker Table can be quite confusing. There are poker felts and poker table tops available that are quite inexpensive but they aren't the focus of this "How to" guide. The worst thing you could do is to buy a poker table only to find out about another type that would have been much better for you. So, I am going to try to describe the basic choices available so you can make an informed and hopefully the best decision for you.

How to choose Poker Chip Sets |
As I'm sure you have found out by now - there are LOTS of differrent kinds of poker chips available. Here is some info you should consider when selecting poker chips.
Quantity:
Unless you don't have many friends and are certain that you will always have 6 or less poker players at your games - you should get at least 500 poker chips with 4 colors in the set. This will give you sufficient chips during cash games or tournaments with 1 table (10 players). If you are going to have more than 10 players you should consider getting a set with 650 chips , 750 chips or 1000 chips. Just remember - it is impossible to have too many chips !!

Selecting Products for a new Poker Room |
This "How to" is designed to help you select the items best suited for a new Poker Room. Wether is is in your home, a new charity tournament or for a start-up business Poker Room or Venue this info should be helpful.
The first thing to tackle is the table. How much room do you have? What size of table(s) will fit? If you are going to have more than 8 players (particularly if some might be XL's) you should consider a 92" or 96" table. Are you going to have a full time dealer? If so, you should probably have a dealer spot (the arm rest is removed so it is easier to shuffle & deal the cards). Do you need a poker chip tray or drop box ?

I hope you like all of the changes !! I have upgraded the core software and switched to a new server so the web site should resp;ond much faster now. I have added a blog and have focused the web site's content. This was previously a "poker" web site - now it will be a "poker products sales & information" web site. I think most of you will find the focused articles more useful. As always, if you have any questions, comments or suggestions they are always welcome. |
