Charity Tournaments 

Several of our members have reported doing very well at Charity Tournaments. Of course, there are a lot of “contributors" at this type of tournament - we think that you should be one of the recipients !! We have a link set up where you can check for a charitable tournament in your area. Of course, there is a percentage taken out to donate to the particular charity so, your overall payout would most likely be less than at most casinos.  Michigan has made significant changes in their charity tournament rules in January, 2007.  The first is to allow prizes higher than $500.  Also, it is now allowed to check-raise in these tournaments.  In some cities such as Grand Rapids there are sites that have charity tournaments every week.  Before you go - you might want to order a new shirt or a pair of sunglasses – good luck !!
